SS Christina Fraser
A collier last seen battling a gale off Gabo Island in 1933 and never seen again. Some wreckage washed ashore at Lakes Entrance.
The story
The Christina Fraser was carrying coal from Newcastle to Geelong. She was last seen in a strong gale off Gabo Island and then became overdue.
Some wreckage later washed ashore at Lakes Entrance. All 18 crew were lost.

The loss position is unknown. Only the last sighting off Gabo Island is recorded.
